Article –The prognostic value of comorbidity for the severity of COVID-19: A systematic review and meta-analysis study.

  The main objective of the study is to provide additional data regarding the clinical characteristics of the patients diagnosed with COVID-19, and in particular to analyze the factors associated with disease severity, lack of improvement, and mortality.

Clinical trial—Safety and Efficacy of the BNT162b2 mRNA Covid-19 Vaccine

A placebo-controlled, observer-blinded, pivotal efficacy trial, using either placebo or the BNT162b2 vaccine candidate (30 μg per dose).  The primary end points were efficacy of the vaccine against laboratory-confirmed Covid-19 and safety.

A Randomized Trial of Convalescent Plasma in Covid-19 Severe Pneumonia

Randomly assigned hospitalized adult patients with severe Covid-19 pneumonia in a 2:1 ratio to receive convalescent plasma or placebo. The primary outcome was the patient’s clinical status 30 days after the intervention, as measured on a six-point ordinal scale ranging from total recovery to death
