Create a personal account for access to special features:
1. Go to www.clinicalkey.com and click
on “Login”, then “OpenAthens login” to open an Athens Authentication page
2. Enter your Athens username and password, to be taken back to www.ClinicalKey.com or the target page.
3. First time users: click on “activate personalisation” in the top right corner of your screen, and create your personal profile for additional functionality (book PDF, export images etc).
4. You can access ClinicalKey anytime, anywhere using your Athens details.

Our local winners won a voucher
and a set of books. The national prize draws took place at the start of July
and unfortunately our readers were not successful in winning any of the
prizes.
We would like to say a BIG
thank-you to Worcestershire Public Libraries for loaning Fiction
Collections to our hospital libraries and to purchasing our reading
diaries and promotional material.

Why not come and use the computers in the Rowlands Library. We have all the
information you need to complete your mandatory E-learning as well as other
courses including Medicines Management, Safeguarding Adults & Information Governance.
Library
staff are on hand to help you access E-learning packages and help with printing
certificates. You do not have to book as we have plenty of computers for
you to use, however if you did want to come with a group of colleagues, please
let us know so that we can reserve a few computers together for you.

NHS staff now have access to an additional 2 collections of
full-text journals and other research material.
The collections are part of the National Core Content information
resources provided by NICE.
Proquest Hospital
Collection contains journal articles, nursing and psychology videos, conference
proceedings, working papers, reports for discovery of findings not yet
published in journals and dissertations.
PsycARTICLES is
a database of full-text articles from journals published by the American
Psychological Association.
NHS Athens – Medline and PsycINFO database changes
From April 1st 2015 these databases will be
provided by a new supplier and saved searches and alerts will NOT be carried
over. You will need to save your settings now and manually enter them
again when the new databases are fully available from July 2015. Between
April and July both databases will be available to search on HDAS but with
reduced fields and features. Full instructions are available here.
In addition, from April 1st 2015 two new
collections will be available:
Proquest Hospital Collection – 4,500 fulltext health
and medical journals, plus videos and dissertations
PsycARTICLES – fulltext to over 100 journals in the
behavioural sciences.
