Title: Is diabetes mellitus associated with mortality and severity of COVID-19? A meta-analysis
Description: 33 studies involving 16,003 patients were analysed. Diabetes in patients with COVID-19 was associated with a two-fold increase in mortality as well as severity of COVID-19 (as compared to non-diabetics).

Title: Outcomes of patients diagnosed with COVID-19 in the early postoperative period following cardiac surgery
Description: This study identified 9 patients who developed COVID-19 infection following cardiac surgery. Their length of hospital stay and mortality outcomes are explored.
